FOWVIS launched Classlist in April 2018 at WVIS! Its a fantastic parent community app run by FOWVIS and Class Reps.
Current parents and new parents can go to Classlist.com to join or download the Classlist app on the App Store or Google Play (app recommended). The school is listed as Windlesham Village Infant School. Note: You will be unable to join if your child is not at the school.
As a parent you can
- Communicate with other parents in your class – feel part of the community beyond the school gate
- All parents/carers of the child can join if they want to.
- See what events are coming up at school – and easily add them to your diary
- Purchase tickets for school events online using paypal or card (Min £1 spend)
- Arrange a private event – such as your child’s party or playdate
- Arrange lift shares and share childcare info
- Enable notifications – cut out the emails!
- Have a go-to place for useful links such as School Uniform Ordering, After School Clubs Page
- Get key announcements through the app
- Link your children at different schools who all use Classlist
- Lost and Found and Marketplace
The law changed on 25th May 2018 – GDPR, and we wanted to be fully compliant in the way we use, store and manage your data. This app gives us reassurance of securely held data, and keeps the community lists up to date – only parents/carers of current pupils can use the app. You choose what data you give and how much you will share within the community.
