Volunteers who wish to help within school can either register their interest with their child's class teacher (if they are a parent/carer) and/or send an email to: school@wvi.tamat.org.uk.

Before starting:

1. A DBS check will be initiated - an application will be created by the school office and a link will be sent to the volunteer via email. The volunteer then needs to follow the instructions on the link and then the school office will complete the application process. Once the certificate has been issued, the volunteer must bring it to school as the school office need to witness it.

2. Complete a short application form.

2. Watch a short Safeguarding Presentation for parent volunteers.

3. Read and sign the Code of Conduct for Volunteers to indicate that you have completed the training and agree to follow our Code of Conduct. 

Paper copies will be available the first time you come into school to volunteer.
